Developed a rat model of wound healing after laryngotracheal injury. Conducted of TGF b-1: effects on wound healing in the injury rat larynx. Principle Investigator: I.N. Jacobs, Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia

Conducted electro-physiologic measurements of EPSP produced by GLu-R-6 outside-out patches adjacent to isolated amphibian hair cell active zones. Experience with cell culture techniques, whole cell and outside-out patch voltage clamp techniques, and isolated amphibian hair cell preparations.
