Dr. David Dillard FACS
Dr. David G. Dillard is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery in Otology (ear diseases and surgery), Rhinology (nose and sinus diseases and surgery), Laryngology (voice box disorders and surgery), Head and Neck Surgery (primarily cancer surgery of the throat, nose, larynx and neck) and Facial Plastic Surgery. We have several practices located throughout Georgia and the Greater Atlanta area: Athens, Lawrenceville, and Braselton.
With over a decade of experience in Ear Nose and Throat, and special interests in sinusitis, vertigo, and obstructive sleep apnea, Dr. Dillard is the patent-pending innovator of multiple groundbreaking devices and treatments that are the wonderful byproducts of his expertise. For example, he has performed over 1,500 V.O.A.T.™ surgeries, a minimally-invasive, innovative procedure designed to treat sleep apnea. A graduate of Emory University: Department of Otolaryngology (residency, year 2000) and a Navy Veteran, Dr. Dillard held an academic appointment at Emory University School of Medicine, currently holds an academic appointment at the University of Georgia School of Medicine, and has received a national award from the American Academy of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Dillard has also published several research articles that have been featured in many prominent Otolaryngology journals. As one of the first surgeons certified in Georgia for in-office Sinuplasty, Dr. Dillard is widely regarded as one of the most experienced Sinuplasty surgeons in the country. Several salient News Broadcasting programs, including Sky Magazine, Atlanta Medicine, The Journal of the Medical Association of Atlanta, as well as radio stations WGKA and WAFS have featured Dr. Dillard’s innovative Balloon Sinuplasty procedure. Dr. Dillard has also been awarded multiple research grants and has given many presentations at various prestigious national academic meetings. Dr. David L. Edwards
Dr. Edwards received his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine and completed residencies in Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Dr. Edwards is board certified in Otolaryngology by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He has been a practicing ENT specialist for over 35 years and has a special interest in sinus health. Dr. Edwards has extensive experience in the minimally invasive Balloon Sinuplasty procedure performed in the office.
