Cure Sleep Apnea with NO CPAP!
If you are a pilot and have been diagnosed with sleep apnea, you will most likely be required by the FAA to use a CPAP machine, and submit a usage data report to prove that you have been using it. But what if you could instead cure your sleep apnea for good?
Through a groundbreaking procedure pioneered by the doctors at the Sleep and Sinus Centers of Georgia, you can completely eliminate your need for CPAP by treating sleep apnea at its source. The best part is that the minimally invasive procedure is performed right here in our Atlanta office.
Recent Legislation from the FAA
In an effort to protect the safety of pilots, passengers, and people on the ground, the FAA has begun to focus on the diagnosis and treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) in pilots. Obstructive Sleep Apnea can lead to excessive drowsiness and cognitive impairment due to a lack of restorative sleep at night.
For this reason, the FAA is requiring many pilots to either be tested and treated for sleep apnea, or risk disqualification or unemployment. Many airline pilots have families who depend on them, and cannot risk losing their jobs and their source of income.
VOAT for No CPAP
We have expanded on the medical principals of Radio Frequency Ablation, or RFA, to create an innovative procedure called VOAT. This procedure is simple, minimally invasive, and takes only about 30 seconds to complete, with most patients returning to normal activity the next day. Performed in our Atlanta office, the VOAT procedure involves gently warming the back of your tongue, effectively denaturing the proteins and shrinking the tissue. Because of this shrinkage, your airway will no longer be restricted or blocked. That means you can get back to work without having to use CPAP.
